Covid-19 policies (Updated 3/23/23)
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 Point of Action will have new protocols for treatments and the clinic in general. As we open, and for the foreseeable future Point of Action will operate as follows: If you answer Yes to any of these questions, your appointment will be rescheduled without penalty.
- Appointment Cancellations:
- If you are having symptoms of cold or illness please reschedule your appointment for another day.
- Let Brian know as soon as possible if your appointment needs to be rescheduled or cancelled.
- There will be no penalty for the day of cancellations at this time.
- Masks:
- Beginning April 3, 2023, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is lifting the mask mandate for medical facilities. Mask requirements will now be to the discretion of the facility.
- Brian will wear a mask if it is the patients preference.
- Masks will also be no longer required for all patients upon arrival and throughout the visit, but of course may be worn if the patient prefers.
- Standard health safety precautions will remain in affect, including:
- Hand sanitizer will be made available to all patients upon entering the clinic space.
- A HEPA air purifier is being used in the treatment as an added precaution.
- Treatment table, chairs, surfaces, and door handles will be sanitized and wiped between each patient.
All of these changes have been made with the best interest of all of my patients as well as myself in mind.
As our knowledge of this virus evolves, so will this list of precautions. Thank you for your cooperation and patience while we all adjust.
